Access :
From departure airport to Vuokatti and return : tickets cost around 250 - 450 €/pers with luggage, depending airline and length of time of the itinary (or more depending dates).
From departure airport (Italy, Belgium, Germany, France, Netherlands) to HELsinki airport : Plane, if not with Finnair, you'll need probably 1 night in Helsinki (possible citytrip). It's usually better to book flights asap. We'll inform you which flights are the best and cheapest. Same for kid's discounts and about your luggage costs (with eventual wintersport material). We tell you all what is usually needed to know.
With several airlines, you can check-in your large ski-snowboard equipment with extra costs and special delay for the check-in and boarding at gate. During your changes of planes, control that your ski-equipment follows :) We'll give you some informations and advices depending the airline company, you'll use. Maybe, you can share big checked-in luggages with your friends (to decrease number of luggages)
From Helsinki to Kajaani (city) : Several daily planes (1 hour), or several daily confortable day trains (6 hours, surrounded by beautiful snowy landscapes. One way train ticket = average 60 €, booking panoramic seat included. Train ticket must be purchased as soon as possible). Also, 1 weekly direct plane from Düsseldorf to Kajaani.
From Kajaani to your accommodation in Vuokatti village (40 minutes) : Public bus-taxi-coach-rent a car (you'll decide later this transfer), depending your timetable, number of people and your budget.

If you fly with Finnair, you can register your luggages till you final airport :)
Finnair has the best timetables ... maybe only 6 hours needed to come from Italy or Belgium. 1h transit in HELsinki-airport.

We'll inform you, how to book panoramic seat on train.
You will get the timetables of public buses, taxi phone number, or the possibility to rent a car, or to book a coach for your group.
Accomodations (no smoking inside) for family, friends, students, business, groups.
Price lists are under each accomodation. If not ; please ask us to get the best "dynamic price" of the moment.
In hotels, in B&B : Price per "standard" room occupied by 2 persons (sometimes there is an extra cost for a room occupied by 1 or 3 or 4 persons - You can ask for a "higher category" of room wiith an extra cost. If standard room is no more available, we'll tell you before the booking the evesntual extra cost for a higher category of room available. Please, see pricelist for each accomodation) - Breakfast is included.
In hotels, on your request, you can get an Half Board ( HB, with breakfast + dinner ), Full Board (FB, breakfast + lunch and dinner), or, without any food, just renting (You'll buy food at shops by yourself. Sometimes, you get discounts with the IEC card).
With rented accomodations ; bed linen and final cleaning are provided and included. Eventual baby-bed or kid-bed are available if requested at the booking.
Notices : There are no star levels in Finland, we just compare with French standards. WIFI in room. Sauna & dryer in accomodation.
