À
quelques kilomètres du centre de Florence le Golf de "Ugolino" est
le plus ancien club de Toscane et un des plus anciens d'Italie. L'actuel
parcours de 18 trous en par 72 mesure 5741 mètres et il a été construit
en 1933 par les architectes Gannon et Blandford. Le terrain se situe en
plein cœur du "Chianti" (si fameux pour ses vins) et en exaltant la beauté
de son paysage dessiné par ses douées collines, il en resort, aussi le caractère
de délicate technicité que le parcours présente.  Le
parcours est ouvert toute l'année, sauf deux petites semaines entre les
mois de janvier et février, et pendant la semaine les lundis (excep-tion
faite des lundis qui tombent en jour de fête) depuis novembre jusqu'au mois
de mars. Vous pouvez disposer d'un jolie driving-range équipé aussi de postes
couverts, de putting green et de bunkers d'entraînement. Le Pro-shop se
trouve dans la Hall du Club House et juste à quelques pas, dans le grand

jardin,
il y a un cours de tennis et une élégante piscine avec service de Bar et
Restaurant. Tout autour et en zones différentes de spacieux parkings on
été aménagés. Le Club House, qui date des année trente, a gardé tout son
charme, typique de l'architecture de cette époque. Vous pouvez apprécier
la qualité du service et des produits naturels qui enrichissent les spécialités
culinaires, servies dans un cadre très agréable et décontracté, à toutes
heures et, si la journée est belle, ce sara une fête d'être servis sur les
amples terrasses ensoleillées parmi le vert des pins qui couronnent la Club
House. L'hospitalité à l'Ugolino est notre devise et pour être admis sur
le parcours il suffit de présenter votre licence federative et acquitter
le greens-fees... |

A pochi
chilometri da Firenze, il Golf dell'Ugolino è il più antico circolo
toscano e uno dei più antichi d'Italia. Il percorso di 18 buche, è un
par 72 di 5741 metri, costruito nel 1933 dagli architetti Gannon e Blandford.
Il campo è situato nel cuore del Chianti ed, oltre alla spettacolarità
del suo paesaggio, si distingue anche per essere un percorso di estrema
delicatezza tecnica, dovuta soprattutto alla sua ubicazione collinare.
E aperto tutto l'anno, eccetto due settimane fra gennaio e febbraio, e
osserva la chiusura settimanale tutti i lunedì non festivi da novembre
a II Circolo è dotato di un driving-range, con numerose postazioni sia
all'aperto che al coperto, del putting green, di un green e di un bunker
di pratica, del pro-shop, oltre ad un campo da tennis e ad una bellissi-ma
piscina con servizio di bar e ristorante. Il Club House, costruito negli
anni trenta, è monumento nazionale e costituisce, essendo rimasto praticamente
intatto nel corso degli anni, un raro esempio di architettura razionalista.
Ai visitatori e offerto un ottimo servizio di bar e ristorante ed è possibile
sfruttare le splendide terazze che si affacciano sulle chiome dei pini.
L'Ugolino offre, in ogni stagione, ospitalità a tutti i giocatori italiani
e stranieri, purché affiliati a un altro Circolo, ed è possibile noleggiare

Just a short distance from the centre of Florence, the Ugolino Golf Club is the oldest in Tuscany and one of the most ancient in Italy. The 18 holes course was built in 1933 by the architects Gannon and Blandford; it is 5741 meters long for a par of 72. Located in the heart of the Chianti area amongst spectacular scenery it requires playing a variety of delicate, technical shots owing to the many hillside lies! It is open all year round, with the exception of two weeks in January/February and is closed on working Mondays from November to March. The Club has driving range with several stations both in the open and under cover, two putting greens as well as a practice bunker; an excellent tennis court and a fantastic swimming pool with bar and restaurant service are two much appreciate facilities which draw lots of visitors during the Summer months. The Club House, built during the 1930s, belongs to the National Trust; after surviving practically intact during all these years, it is now one of the few remaining examples of architecture of those times. Visitors can enjoy a first class restaurant and bar using the beautiful terraces that look over the tops of the pine trees. The Ugolino Golf Club welcomes members of other Clubs from all parts of the world: it is possible to rent clubs as well as trolleys and cars and to purchase golf equipment at the pro-shop.

Der
Golf Club Ugolino, der älteste Golf Club der Toskana und einer der
ältesten in Italien, liegt nur wenige Kilometer entfernt von Zentrum der
Stadt Florenz. Der Platz hat ein Par von 72 bei einer Länge von 5741m
und wurde 1933 von den Architekten Gannon und Blandford angelegt. Im Herzen
des Chianti liegt der 18-Löcher Platz nicht nur in einer landschaftlich
traumhaften Umgebung, sondern es ist auch durch seine Hügellage technisch
nicht uninteressant. Der Club ist ganzjährig geöffnet, mit Ausnahme von
zwei Wochen zwischen Januar und Februar: "ausser an Feiertagen, ist in
den Monaten von November bis März Montags Ruhetag. " Den Mitgliedern und
Gästen des Clubs stehen eine Driving-range mit zahlreichen überdachten
und freiliegenden Übungsplätzen, ein Putting-green und ein Grün für Annäherungen
und Bunkerschläge zur Verfügung, sowie auch ein Pro-shop, ein Tennisplatz
und ein ruhig gelegenes Schwimmbad mit Restaurant und Barservice.

Das
in den 30iger Jahren erbaute und im Laufe der Jahre praktisch unveränderte
Clubhaus steht als rares Beispiel rationalistischer Architektur unter
Denkmalschutz und ein gepflegtes Restaurant sowie die Sonnenterrassen
mit Blick auf die Kronen der umstehenden Pinien stehen den Besuchern jederzeit
zur Verfügung. Der Golf Club Ugolino ist allen italienischen und ausländischen
Golfspielern, die Mitglieder eines anderen Clubs sind, zu jeder Jahreszeit
zugänglich und es besteht immer die Möglichkeit Schläger, Wagen und auch
Cars zu leihen.
